Troye Sivan - Happy Little Pill
Australian actor and popular youtube-videoblogger Troye Sivan is about to release his first solo EP after signing with Universal Music. The second single from the EP baptised TRXYE is the song "Happy Little Pill", and it very good indeed. It's a bit dark downtempo RnB, soul and electronic all at once. A mix we happen to love. If that's also your cup of tea we're certain you'll love this too.
Sivan has said "It's about loneliness and the different ways that people cope with the things that are going on in their lives", about the song.

Strange Talk - Climbing Walls
It was a boring day today-- it was raining half the day, and then there was no interesting music to listen to as well. This was when Mr. Poposphere himself pinged me, and here I am listening, and also posting, this song.
The song by this Australian band Strange Talk is indeed very electro-pop. It brings back that theme and feel of listening to most of those electro-pop or enectro-pop-indie bands.
Here's one of their tracks from the album they released in April.

Former Mini Viva-member, Britt Love, going solo
The British duo act Mini Viva had was successful with their first single "Left My Heart in Tokyo" and got good reviews and released two more singles and an album, but they failed to follow up the sales of the lead single and split late last year. Now one of the girls, Britt Love, is trying it out on her own with the Youth Kills-produced single "Come With Me".
And What does it all sounds like? Well, it sounds like a member of Mini Viva singing over a track that could be a Xenomania-attempt to repeat Robyn's success with "With Every Heartbeat" -exactly like that actually. But I LOVE it. If you gonna rip-off/make a tribute to someone, learn from the best.

MGMT - Congratulations (Erol Alkan Remix)
I was going through MGMT's website and I found this new mix for "Congratulations." Well, honestl speaking, MGMT songs do not need to be remixed. But I like this Erol Alkan version--it gives a more groovy touch to this song.

Fenech-Soler - Demons
I'm listening to Fenech-Soler now, and instantly it reminds me of some bands, but I just can't figure who. Maybe it's their electro pop beats that reminds me a little bit of MGMT. But no comparisons here.
I think French-Soler brings out that electo pop soul that makes you listen to it more and more and then you realize that you're hooked to it. I really like how the song starts and the beats that follows.
Here's the latest from the Brit band "Demons."
