The Romani singer, rapper, voice actor and guitarist Joci Pápai from Hungary rose to fame internationally through his entries in Eurovision Song Contest 2017 and 2019. Now he returns with the stripped down single, Hova Tűnt.

Michele Bravi won the 7th season of X-factor Italy last year, and a week ago he debuted his first album titled "A Passi Piccolo"(~ "In small steps"). On this album we found this little gem called "Non Aver Paura Mai" (~"Never ever afraid") written by no other than our favourite Italian artist: Tiziano Ferro(co-written with Emanuele Dabbono)!

It's a cutesy little number that takes our imagination for a bike ride on sunny day along a country road by flowing fields in Toscana. Very likeable and quite catchy. If you haven't heard any of Bravi's previous singles you should check out "Sotto Una Buona Stella" and "Un Giorno Un Più" that are just as equally great. :)

Hi guys, sorry for being so absent this month, but been having a crazy work schedule, but I'm gonna try to make up for it. Today we start off with Britney Spears new music video for her latest single "Criminal" off her "Femme Fatale" album. It's the only ballad on the album, and it's written by Shellback and Max Martin, with additional writing by Tiffany Amber.

The song differentiates itself from anything Britney has sung on before since the song is a guitar-driven midtempo ballad, which incorporates a folk-style flute melody. The songs lyrics works very well with the just released accompanying music video directed by Chris Marrs Piliero. Chris also directed the video for "I Wanna Go" and he's got a very movie plot/photography-like style in this video as well, but while "I Wanna Go" was humorous, "Criminal" got a more mature and serious tone.

In the verses Britney sings about being in love with a bad boy/criminal with lyrics like "He is a hustler / He's no good at all / He is a loser, he's a bum, bum, bum, bum" and "He is a bad boy with a tainted heart / And even I know this ain't smart". In the chorus she pleads to her mother not to worry in lines such as "But mama im in love with a criminal" and "Mama please don't cry / I will be alright", comparable to the lyrics in Madonna's "Papa, don't preach". And in the video Britney runs away with a guy that saves her from a creep at a fancy happening, then the video is giving us shorts snippets of Britney's new life together with this guy that clearly is a criminal. All of this mixed up with various hot sex scenes that fit well with the ending of all choruses: "And this type of love isn't rational / It's physical". Only Britney can make flutes sexy.

The long awaited video for Adele's "Someone like you" is here. And like the song it's a scaled down beautiful and sad affair -in black and white.The video was shot in the beautiful streets of Paris.

I liked Julian Perretta before, but after this I love him! Can't stop listening to this. The singer-writer has gone and done a soul/pop-hit -and I can't get enough off it. Check out the video now -it's an order! I would describe it being a mix between Maroon 5's "Moves like Jagger", Robin Thicke and a splash Frankmusik maybe.

Norwegian singer-songwriter Maria Mena is giving us the second single, "Homeless" from her 5th album "Viktoria" to be released later this fall. Maria has a the unique ability to make all her songs sound personal, and at the same time make you relate and feel that they're about you. Marcus Foster - I was broken

Marcus Foster is a British singer-songwriter who wrote a track for the soundtrack of the first Twilight movie, then sung by teenage heartthrob Rob Pattinson("Let me sign"). Now Marcus Foster is releasing a new song, this time sung by himself, but in the video he's supported by yet another Twilight star -Kristen Stewart. We love this song as much as we loved "Let me sign", they're equally emotional and equally breaks our hearts, this is a really really sad song.

"I Was Broken" is  out 19 September.. The track is taken from his debut album "Nameless Path", released 26 September.

Kelly Clarkson - Mr. Know it all

Kelly Clarkson is coming back with a bit of a new sound for her. It's still pop/rock, but it's not the same power shouting that she's done with previous hits like "Since you been gone" and "My life would suck without you", but it's still very catchy. I approve and think that this will be a big hit. The song is written by Brian Kennedy, Ester Dean, Brett James, and Dante Jones

Catalin Josan is a famous singer-songwriter from Romania. His latest single is called "Walking on fire". And how does it sound you may ask now? Well, I would say the song is guitar based backed up by orchestral features, and is a typical summer jam. The singer sounds a bit like James Morrison.

Ed Sheeran - The A Team

This video has been around for a year, but the song "The A Team" just got released in UK last month and immediately nabbed the number 3 spot on the UK Chart. And no question why he did. It's a wonderful ballad and the young 20-year old can easily keep up and deserve to be compared to artists like James Blunt, David Gray, Joshua Radin and James Morrison. This is the type of singer-songwriter tracks that we absolutely love.

I have a bit of a struggle to figure out 2 things: 1) He's voice/tone reminds us A LOT of another singer, but who? 2) What is the song about, really? Any clues? Feel free to leave answers in the comments section. Id appreciate it. :)

This song is a year old, but remembered it today. It got a really summery feel to it. When I started playing it I remembered how good it is which made me play it several times over the day. It's a beautiful singer-songwriter/pop-gem with a really pleasant melody -hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

I had a conversation with myself earlier. It went down something like this:
-I think our blog are lacking in the Adele-department
- You are right, there ain't enough Adele on there. Why is that?
- Well she hasn't done any videos except for that first single of hers, "Rolling in the deep", that has been played everywhere.
- Should that(i.e. her lame PR-management) really stop us??
- no, that's simply wrong

So there you have it folks. I'm giving you more Adele, and since the radio stations is playing her singles until LP-needles are breaking(well they should've done if radio stations still used LP-players) I hereby give you a very good remix instead:

Dia Framption may not be a name familiar to you, especially not if you're not watching the American TV-show "The Voice", Dia has made the most talked about performance on the show when she covered Kanye West's song "Heartless" and really made it her own.

Whether she wins the show or not, I really hope she'll get to release a record because who wouldn't want more of this amazingness?! So heartfelt and beautiful. One of the judges on the show, the singer and producer Cee Lo Green praised Dia Framptions performance by saying that it was “very original” and “probably the greatest rendition of a song I ever heard.”

Tim Bendzko - Nur noch kurz die Welt retten

This wasn't something I expected to see on the German charts -like ever. It's a good, no great singer-songwriter track sung in german!! That is like unheard of, but yet -there it is. And I see why, it's a great song. The sentiment of the refrain is something like "I have to go and save the world, babe. But right after that I'll come back to be by your side". Quite beautiful I think.

I really like this and am looking forward to hear more from Mr. Bendzko.

Norwegian Singer-Songwriter Maria Mena is following up her 2008 album "Cause and Effect" with this first single from a untitled forthcoming album. The song is called "This Too Shall Pass" and sounds as you expect a Maria Mena-single to sound: beautiful piano melodies, pretty emotional vocals and meaningful lyrics. The lyrics tell the message that relationships have struggles, but if you working on them you can overcome them.
