Here's some fresh dubstep straight from the UK brought to you by the act Modestep and their single 'Feel Good'. And does it indeed make you feel good! It's blazing beats throwing back and forth and with perfect beautiful male vocals resembling(most likely unintentional) the singer Frankmusik, making this stick in your head throughout the evening.

Lykke Li - I Follows Rivers

Lykke Li is returning with a proper single, and what a hit it is! Love love love this. 'I Follow Rivers' is the second single from upcoming album 'Wounded Rhymes'.

The video is directed by Tarik Saleh. The video's plot is that the guy in question(played by Swedish actor Fares Fares) runs over a landscape covered in snow with harsh winds. Lykke Li is covered in black flowy garments that also covers her face, and follow the boy the best she can. And they eventually end up by the sea. Simply beautiful video.

Video Update: Adele - Rolling in the Deep

The official video has arrived! The video for Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' that is. The single is amazing, aswell as the album -which is out now, so go and pick up a copy.

The Video takes place in an big old empty house. In the scenes with Adele she's sitting on a chair in a big room that looks like it's in middle of refurbishment with a huge Renascence painting on one of the walls. My favorite scenes are a hallway with a staircase surrounded by hundreds of glasses of water which vibrate in the rythm from the beat of the song, and china that is flying down some stairs hitting a white board and then obviously crashing down onto the floor.

Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath

Nicole's second single from her upcoming album is called 'Don't hold your breath'.

The track was first produced by Timbaland and sung by Keri Hilson, but was cut from his album 'Shock Value II'.
'Don't hold your breath was then re-worked by Dave Aude and Jonas Jerberg for Nicole, and gave the song more of a pop Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' kinda feel too it -which isn't wrong in my book.

The song ain't as direct at Poison, but it has a little less screaming and more melody. It will probably not chart as high as 'Poison', but with a little bit of luck... The release is schedule to march 6th, both the physical and the digital single.

The lyrics are kinda depressing. It's about an ex-boyfriend who seemed to be quite a douchebag, and now he wants Nicole back(or in the original case -Keri Hilson) and here's some of Nicole's answer to him:

"You can't touch me now
There's no feeling left
If you think I'm coming back
Don't hold your breath
What you did to me
Boy I can't forget
If you think I'm coming back
Don't hold your breath"

We also approve the cover art -very pretty indeed.

Video Update: Avril Lavigne - What the hell

Avrils new song has been overshadowed by Britney's new song a bit, which is a shame, since although it's not an fantastic orgasmic song, it's a good song and the best we've been given from Avril in a very long time. If you think it sounds a bit like a Kelly Clarkson track, it's not that surprising since the song is penned by Max Martin(and Shellback), who's also written/produced most of Kelly's big hits.

The video is directed by Marcus Raboy has now surfaces online, and just like the song, it's good/alright, but not amazing. Check it out for yourselves.

P!nk - F**kin' Perfect

Pink isn't only about all those party songs, the crazy ones. Sometimes it seems she likes bringing her softer, meaningful side out. The same say she did it with "Family Portrait," this time around she is out with "F**kin' Perfect."

And the lyrics, it's pretty amazing. When you're down, when you feel silly, when you think that you're worthless, never think the way that your mind wants you to think. This is the gist of her song: (Click here for lyrics)
"Pretty pretty please, don't you ever ever feel
Like you're less than f*ckin' perfect
Pretty pretty please, if you ever ever feel like you're nothing
You're f*ckin' perfect to me!"
And indeed, no one is perfect. So let's not try to be perfect or see perfection in the other person. Let's just be who we are and love the other person for who they are.

Rebecca | Fiona - Bullets

Rebecca & Fiona gave us 'Luminary ones' back in the beginning of October. Now the DJ-duo is back with yet a indie influenced track, but this time it's leaning more towards their dancing roots in the shape of the house genre. The new single is called "Bullets" and is produced by Adrian Lux.

Rebecca & Fiona have reached huge success in their native Sweden after touring around Europe with Robyn, and had their own 12 webisode long show running all autumn.

Rebecca & Fiona hasn't announced any plans for an album yet, but says that they're gonna keep the singles coming when they've got time between their DJ-ing. And when it's this good, we certainly wanna see more releases from them.

Plain White Ts - Rhythm of Love

When I first heard the name of the band, Plain White Ts, I was like--"Are you serious?" But then came along "Hey there Delilah" that swept the musical moods of many. And I can't remember the number of times the song was played in the radio. And then came "1,2,3,4." I really like the video.

And now, here they are, the band from Lombard, Illinois, with their latest single 'Rhythm of Love' from the album Wonders of the Younger. The first time you listen to it, it's just ok, like some another Plain White Ts. But as you keep listening, you get into it.

Here's 'Rhythm of Love'

Dr Dog

They identify themselves as Taxi, Tables, Text, Teach and Thanks.
Taxi (Scott McMicken), Tables (Toby Leaman), Text (Zach Miller), Trouble (Juston Stens) and Thanks (Frank McElory) make up Dr. Dog, a five-member indie rock band from Philadelphia. My first taste of Dr. dog was in April 2009. I had no cue about them and the concert ticket was a birthday gift from a friend. And they took over my musical mind.

To talk about Dr. Dog, I like how the vocals blend with the music and the music blends in with the vocal. You don’t find a typical rock sound in their music; it’s mellow and energetic with good coordination of bass, rhythm and keyboard with vocal.

One of my favorite Dr. Dog tracks is “The Old Days” from their 2008 album “Fate.” Other tracks from the same album I personally like include “100 Years,” “My Old Ways,” and “The Breeze.” They’ve also done a pretty interesting, a softer version of the Architecture in Helsinki’s “Heart It Races” retaining that Dr. Dog flavor.

The band recently released their sixth album “Shame, Shame” that shares the Dr. Dog musical trademark with their previous albums. Listen to “Stranger” and “Mirror, Mirror” from their latest album.

Enrique Iglesias - Tonight (I'm loving you)

Enrique has released the video for his single 'Tonight', unfortunately it's not the fun explicit version of the song(with the line "Sorry, I don't mean to be rude. But tonight I'm fucking you")
Which I believe is the original version as well since I think it fits better with the rest of the lyrics.

However, it's the parent-friendly version that has gotten the video treatment, and the video has the typical Enrique-theme aswell. He's in a club -schocking, huh?! :P Either how, I think the song is good and deserves a listen.

Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me

Britney Spears is back with the first single from her up'n'coming as-of-yet untitled album. The song is Hold It Against Me, and if it's any indication on how her new album will sound it's pure dancepop with heavy beats.

It's nice to hear her voice again. And that the vocals's isn't auto-tuned to hell.We shall see if 2011 is the year Britney makes a real huge comeback.

Jay Sean & Karl Wolf - Yalla Asia (feat. Radhika Vekaria)

Hey guys. Sorry for being so absent, but I'm now back from the holidays and I promise that I'm gonna post more frequently. :) It's a new year and many exciting releases to look forward to.

Here's the Official AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011-song, which is a collaboration between Jay Sean & Karl Wolf featuring Radhika Vekaria. The song is called 'Yalla Asia', and that's pretty much all the lyrics there is to it too.

Picco - Venga

'Venga' by Picco is a new release from Ultra Records which blends Salsa rythms and dance music into a very enjoyable mixture. Don't you agree?

Avril Returns with something that actually sounds decent

Yeah, unbelieveable. After a streak of crappy singles and a music career going nowhere Avril is at it again with a new album and the first single is actually rather good. It's called 'What the hell' and already introducing one of the best lyrics of 2011 as of yet, or what do you say about the line "All my life I've been good, but now I'm thinking -what the hell!".
